Turn a real problem into an open proposal
Any member can bring a problem, evidence, and boundaries before it has a product name.
Flmelody is a product community moved by designers, developers, writers, and the people who actually use what gets built.
Open proposals identify questions worth solving. Small working groups validate, build, and steward the resulting products. Important decisions, failures, and changes stay on the public record so direction can be understood—and challenged.
hello@flmelody.org ↗We believe small products made by a community deserve complete design, honest models, and the dignity of long-term maintenance.
Build less. Understand more. Maintain longer.
Every project follows a visible path of judgment, but no proposal is guaranteed to reach release.
Any member can bring a problem, evidence, and boundaries before it has a product name.
Name stewards, contribution paths, and stopping conditions so discussion becomes testable action.
Design, code, writing, and user feedback enter the same iteration—not one person’s closed room.
Fixes, docs, governance, migration, and even ending a service are all part of the experience.
No dark patterns, artificial urgency, or tracking treated as the normal setting.
Whether open or proprietary, every product needs a clear and usable export path.
Payment buys sustained value—not relief from artificial limits or fear.
Share useful process and judgment, not updates manufactured to maintain a persona.
Roadmaps, licenses, and major commercial changes need reasons the community can review.
Write with product feedback, open-source collaboration, research evidence, or a concrete wish to contribute. The community does not accept context-free promotion.
